From the first warm-up shots to the final arrows of the day, it was clear what EA stands for—community, passion, and sporting ambition. Recurve, compound, barebow, or traditional—the bow classes were as diverse as the participants themselves.

During the day, there was focused training, in-depth discussions, and refinement of technique. Testing, correcting, explaining, and motivating—everything was part of it. New connections were made, old friendships deepened. And of course, there was plenty of time for great conversations, shared laughter, and true Black Forest moments beyond the shooting line.

What stood out most was the strong sense of unity within the group. Experienced archers shared their knowledge, beginners were welcomed and supported—exactly what you would hope for in a thriving community.

The 2023 annual gathering once again showed:
