Fun and community come first, results come second! We are not a club, but a movement with an extreme passion for traditional 3D archery. Since we are based in the center of Belgium and often shoot away from home, we call ourselves the “Lowland Archers.” We do not (yet) have our own 3D course, so we shoot 3D in Belgium, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands… and also take part in various competitions. We love being outdoors, as well as everything that comes with this hobby: enjoying the relaxing power of nature, having a BBQ, a good whisky, and talking about the next bow… For Kristof, the archery adventure began in 2018. It started with a fascination for medieval archery. The decision to take up traditional archery was made quickly. Since he is also a rifle hunter in Germany, 3D archery was a great addition. It all started with 35 lbs, but he also greatly enjoys shooting with extremely high draw weights. Kristof’s wife bought her first bow in 2022, and his good friend Geoffry did the same around the same time (mostly as an excuse to get away from home more often). That was how the first small group came together. Lennert joined at the end of 2024 – a good friend with quite a temper and also fascinated by medieval archery. In 2026, his girlfriend Jolien was finally swept up by this “extreme behavior” as well and quickly became completely enthusiastic about archery.
